Hi, I’m Mary.
I’m passionate about inspiring and empowering women who have lived according to rules and standards made by others. Women who feel unheard and unseen.
Over the past 26 years, I’ve been working with women to help women like you create satisfying and fulfilling lives where you feel valued and appreciated. It Is possible to make choices that bring love and joy into your lives, instead of giving up and collapsing in despair.
Let me show you how to learn to be excited to get up in the morning and get going with your life again!
I’m humbled and honored to have witnessed so many women’s lives change once they start valuing themselves and stop living a life of self-sacrifice.
I know what it feels like to be completely stuck.
I remember the time I was struggling with “one foot on the gas and one foot on the brake”. My indecision and ambivalence didn’t allow me to move forward and it felt like there were no good options. I wasted so much time and had no energy to find a solution. I was burnt out.
I was a stay at home Mom and primary caregiver for my two children. I had spent the previous 12 years completely immersed in raising my daughters. My life revolved around the intensive home program for my special needs daughter. When she was ready to enter school at 8 years old, I had no idea what to do with my life.
I was looking for answers and there didn’t seem to be any. I was spinning in my head for months and months with this void ahead of me. Asking myself “What can I do to give myself a sense of excitement and joy?”. I was so used to just being there for my children.
I discovered inner resources and support practices that helped me get moving and get into action and I managed to change my entire life. I found my sense of direction. After choosing and implementing this different process, I became clear that going back to school to get my Masters degree in family studies was the thing to do. It was really in synch with my value for family and it opened up a whole new world for me.
When my oldest daughter was 16 and my youngest was 12, I began life as a single parent.
I now have two amazing adult daughters and family has always hugely important to me. It’s a great inspiration in my work with clients.
This is why I’m so passionate about offering life coaching to help motivate and support women as they face their challenges. I don’t want you to stay entrenched like I did for so long. You are much more than your circumstances and you have so much support that you are not yet aware of.
My new horizon is working with women in small groups. I love creating community and connection. I believe it’s the best way to empower women. We all need each other!
Koko is my sidekick.
His name Kokoro means “heart” in Japanese. His presence reminds my clients to relax and be in the moment. His snoring makes them laugh and they become more lighthearted.
Koko and I enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest. We love getting revitalized and rejuvenated in nature while walking in the forest or at the beach.
